L’Antico Forziere

L’Antico Forziere is a seventeenth-century farmhouse set among the rolling landscapes of Umbria, near the ceramic-renowned town of Deruta and within easy reach of Assisi, Perugia, Todi, and Spoleto. Long regarded locally as a significant piece of rural heritage, the property is run by the Rodella family, whose warm hospitality shapes the character of every stay. Exposed brick arches, heavy wooden beams, and sweeping views across the Tiber River valley create an atmosphere of considered timelessness, while the flower-filled garden and picturesque swimming pool invite quiet contemplation of the surrounding countryside.

Accommodation comprises six double rooms and two suites, all furnished with careful attention to detail. Wrought iron beds, fine curtains, ceramic decorations, and exposed beams lend each room its own character, while practical amenities include private bathrooms, minibar, safe, air conditioning, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The suites are arranged across two levels, with a double bed set on a wooden loft, a ground-floor bathroom, a sitting area with sofa bed, and a private entrance directly onto the garden.

Guests have exclusive access to the KlaYmai SPA, which features a Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, sensory shower, and massage services. A bright reading room warmed by an open fireplace offers a further space for relaxation.
